What is Human Form Recognition?
Human Form Recognition (HFR) is an AI technology that identifies the human form specifically, distinguishing people from vehicles, objects and environmental clutter. Where standard proximity sensors trigger on anything that enters a detection zone, HFR cameras trigger only when a person is present.
The practical impact is significant. On a busy construction site or in a warehouse environment, proximity-based systems generate constant false alarms from passing plant, waste, pallets and machinery. Operators learn to ignore them. HFR eliminates that problem. When the alarm sounds, it means a person is there.
